From March 23, vehicles are banned on the elevated Ring Road 3 at night.

(PLVN) - To serve the repair work, Hanoi reorganized traffic on the elevated Ring Road 3, from Mai Dich to Thang Long Avenue.

The Hanoi Department of Construction has just issued a document on traffic organization and diversion to serve the repair of piers, piers, bridge bearings, expansion joints and drainage systems on the elevated Ring Road 3.

Construction time from March 23 to April 27, 2025.

Accordingly, the section from Mai Dich to Thang Long Avenue, during the day (from 6am to 10pm), will barricade half of the elevated Ring Road 3 at 9 expansion joint locations that need repair, vehicles will move on the remaining half of the road.

At night (10pm - 6am the following day), all vehicles will be banned from traveling on the elevated Ring Road 3 from Mai Dich overpass to Thang Long Boulevard.

Vehicles will be adjusted to circulate in the following directions : Ring Road 3 overhead, Mai Dich overpass, Pham Van Dong street will be redirected to Pham Hung street, through Pham Hung - Khuat Duy Tien intersection, onto Ring Road 3 overhead at the entrance on Khuat Duy Tien street to go to Phap Van.

From Thang Long Boulevard to Mai Dich, traffic is normal.

The Mai Dich overpass and Pham Hung street entrances to the elevated Ring Road 3 are still operating normally.

To ensure traffic safety, the Department of Construction requires the Traffic Infrastructure Maintenance Board and the construction unit to be responsible for installing adequate signs, barriers, traffic lights, lighting and speed limit signs at prohibited locations and barriers.

At the same time, coordinate with Traffic Inspectors, Traffic Police and local authorities to arrange forces to guide traffic flow, handle congestion and disseminate information to people.

Hanoi Department of Transport requested relevant units to deploy measures to ensure traffic safety and minimize congestion during construction.
