Truong Ngoc Anh was honored to be a judge at the Malaysia International Film Festival with directors To Ky Phong and Ryuichi Hiroki.

The Malaysia International Film Festival takes place from July 23-29, 2023. At the Malaysia International Film Festival, Truong Ngoc Anh sits on the jury with director To Ky Phong (Head of the jury), Japanese director Ryuichi Hiroki, Singaporean director and producer Eric Khoo, and Malaysian host actor Zizan Razak.
"I have had the opportunity to be a judge at other international film festivals, however, each award has its own criteria and emotions. I am honored to be one of the jury members of the Malaysian International Film Festival this year, but there is also a bit of pressure. This is also an opportunity to learn and interact with colleagues to know more about the country's cinema industry," Truong Ngoc Anh shared.
The Malaysia International Film Festival is a showcase of international and local films. This year, there are 10 films competing for the official award: Eraser (Malaysia); Our Home (India); Let The Dance Begin (Spain); Luxembourg, Luxembourg (Ukraine); Autobiography (Indonesia); Plan 75 (Japan); Sunny Side of the Street (Hong Kong - China); Snow and the Bear ( Turkey); A Light Never Goes Out (Hong Kong - China); My Small Land (Japan).
