On September 25, Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages ​​and Information Technology (HUFLIT) held the opening ceremony of the 2024-2025 school year, welcoming more than 5,000 new students and receiving a certificate of educational quality accreditation for the Oriental Studies major.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Principal of Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages ​​and Information Technology, said that learning is not only limited to books and classrooms but also extends to many aspects of life. Professional knowledge is important, but practical experience and social experience are equally important.

The school always creates conditions for students to do internships and gain practical experience at businesses and social organizations. Thanks to these experiences, students will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge into practice, better understand the working environment and learn how to solve complex problems in life.

At the opening ceremony, the school awarded many scholarships to new students with levels of 50%, 25% of tuition; awarded companion scholarships, experience scholarships, steady-step scholarships... with a total value of 2.3 billion VND.

In this school year, to help reduce difficulties in the university journey, the school has launched a student support fund with a total value of 13 billion VND per year. In addition to receiving companionship and support from businesses... with an amount of nearly 20 billion VND, the school announced a scholarship fund for students in the 2024-2025 school year with a total value of up to 11 billion VND .
