Accordingly, in the 2023-2024 school year, the tuition fee for the English-taught medical and dental programs at Hong Bang International University is 220 million VND/year, and the Vietnamese program is 180 million VND/year. In addition, the tuition fee for the English-taught pharmacy and nursing programs is 100 million VND/year, the Vietnamese program is 60 million VND/year for the pharmacy program and 55 million VND/year for the nursing program.
Explaining this tuition fee, Ms. Tran Thuy Tram Quyen, Vice Principal of Hong Bang International University, said: "220 million VND/year is the tuition fee for the international program, taught entirely in English. The school has to invest heavily in the program, teaching staff, equipment and accompanying care services. With programs taught in Vietnamese, the tuition fee is lower than other non-public schools."

According to Ms. Tram Quyen, there are not many lecturers who can teach in English in the health sector, requiring people with both professional qualifications and English proficiency. Not to mention investing in activities so that students have the opportunity to exchange, experience and receive scholarships from schools with health sectors around the world.
"In addition, the school also has a team of academic advisors who monitor each class. Classes are limited to about 30 students, and hospital practice groups are limited to only 15 students/group. In addition, there are care services, English clubs, projects, and interdisciplinary academic competitions in the health sector so that students have more opportunities to practice their expertise and English...", Ms. Tram Quyen added.
In the 2023-2024 school year, among public schools, Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy plans to have the highest tuition fee for dentistry at 77 million VND/student/school year (10 months); the second highest tuition fee for medicine is 74.8 million VND/year; the third highest tuition fee for pharmacy is 55 million VND/year. Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine plans to have tuition fees for medicine and dentistry at 55.2 million VND/year (Vietnamese language program). The tuition fee for medicine at non-public schools such as Tan Tao University is 150 million VND/year, and Nguyen Tat Thanh University is about 130 million VND/year...
Up to now, this can be considered the first school to implement a health training program entirely in English.
