The exhibition is organized to introduce and honor the outstanding achievements in the creative art careers of painters, sculptors, and photographers who have made positive contributions to the development of Vietnamese literature and art in general and fine arts and photography in particular.
The Ho Chi Minh Prize and the State Prize for Literature and Arts are noble awards for exceptionally excellent works of high value in literature, arts, and ideological content; they are the recognition and evaluation of the Party, State, and people for artists and intellectuals who have made many contributions to the development of the country's literature and arts.

Among the 128 authors and co-authors who were awarded or posthumously awarded the Ho Chi Minh Prize and the State Prize for Literature and Arts in 2022, 26 authors from the fine arts and photography community were awarded or posthumously awarded the Prize, including 3 authors who were awarded or posthumously awarded the Ho Chi Minh Prize and 23 authors who were awarded or posthumously awarded the State Prize.
The public coming to the exhibition will have the opportunity to admire 47 works, including 26 fine art works, 21 works, and a cluster of photographic works by 26 authors who were awarded or posthumously awarded the Prize.
The three authors awarded the Ho Chi Minh Prize include: painter Bui Trang Chuoc, photographer Vo Nguyen Nhan, and Chu Chi Thanh.
The 23 authors awarded the State Prize include painters Nguyen Van Chung, Tran Dong Luong, Nguyen Tai Luong, Nguyen Minh My, Nguyen Van Giao, Hoang Sung, Dinh Gia Thang, Trinh Hoang Tan, and artisan Nguyen Dang San.

Photographers who were awarded the State Prize and had their works exhibited include Nguyen A, Nguyen Xuan At, Nguyen Dang, Nguyen Huu Loc, Lam Hoang Thanh Liem, Ngo Minh Nhat, Nguyen Hoang Nam, Tran Van Giac, Luong Hue Quan, Ho Sy So, Dinh Quang Thanh, Pham Van Thinh, Tran Van Tuan, Le Van).
The works awarded the Prize are typical works in the authors' artistic creative careers, highly appreciated by the Professional Council and recognized by the State.
These are works of art and photography with high artistic value, profound ideological content, and truly and vividly reflecting historical periods of the nation.
The exhibition takes place from August 30 to September 8, 2024 at the Vietnam Museum of Fine Arts, 66 Nguyen Thai Hoc, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi.
