Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Italy to Vietnam Marco Della Seta delivered a speech at the opening ceremony.

This dynamic trade relationship is an important aspect of bilateral cooperation between Vietnam and Italy, benefiting both economies and creating many opportunities for development and progress.

In addition, Vietnam and Italy are two countries with a long tradition of craftsmanship in garment production. This ancient and refined art is an important part of the cultural and economic history of both countries, symbolizing the beauty and skills at the core of their respective national identities. This harmony not only reveals a common appreciation of craftsmanship, but also serves as a bridge to foster mutual respect and understanding.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Marco Della Seta emphasized that textiles are also an increasingly important area for technological cooperation. Recently, the Italy-Vietnam Textile Technology Center based in Ho Chi Minh City, sponsored by the Italian Trade Agency and ACIMIT, is a testament to this spirit of cooperation. The center aims to enhance technological advances and transfer knowledge in textile production between Vietnam and Italy.
