On July 10, Comrade Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission chaired a national online conference to evaluate the results of the implementation of the Party's inspection, supervision and discipline enforcement tasks in the first 6 months of the year, and deploy tasks for the last 6 months of 2023.

In the first 6 months of the year, the Central Inspection Commission (CIC) advised the Politburo and the Secretariat to continue reviewing, amending, supplementing, promulgating and effectively leading and directing the implementation of many important documents on inspection, supervision and Party discipline as a basis for CICs at all levels to proactively advise Party committees at all levels to concretize them into regulations, procedures and instructions suitable to the reality of localities and units. CICs from the Central to local levels and units comprehensively performed their tasks according to the provisions of the Party Charter and the tasks assigned by the Politburo, the Secretariat and Party committees.
Notably, proactively and resolutely conducting inspections when there are signs of violations against organizations and Party members related to cases and incidents under the supervision and direction of the Central Steering Committee on anti-corruption and negativity. The Party's inspection and discipline work continues to be strongly innovated; quality, effectiveness and efficiency are improved. The coordination between the Inspection Commissions at all levels and relevant agencies is close, synchronous, timely, in accordance with principles and responsibilities, in accordance with actual conditions and functions and tasks of each agency. Party committees and Inspection Commissions regularly pay attention to building, consolidating and perfecting the organization and team of inspection staff at all levels. The public announcement of the results of inspection and discipline work on the mass media is carried out seriously, has a positive impact in warning, deterring and educating, and is widely supported by the people.

Head of the Central Inspection Commission Tran Cam Tu highly appreciated the achievements in the Party's inspection and supervision work and the efforts of the Inspection Commissions at all levels in the past time; requested the Inspection Commissions at all levels to continue to uphold the sense of responsibility, focus on thoroughly overcoming shortcomings and limitations, and well perform the tasks and goals set in the coming time; requested Party committees, Party organizations, Inspection Commissions at all levels, especially leaders, to continue to raise awareness and responsibility, advise and help the Politburo, the Secretariat and Party committees at all levels effectively implement the 2023 Inspection Program. Continue to perfect the inspection and supervision institutions, advise on the development and completion of regulations, rules and procedures on inspection and supervision work. Promote the comprehensive implementation of tasks according to the Party Charter, focusing on signs of political, ideological, moral, and lifestyle degradation, and on areas, fields, and work positions where corruption and negativity are likely to arise and occur.
Continue to seriously, promptly and effectively implement the direction of the Central Steering Committee on preventing and combating corruption and negativity. Proactively carry out the work of planning, perfecting and improving the quality of inspection staff at all levels, building a team of truly qualified inspection staff with revolutionary ethics, political courage, professional skills and scientific working methods, ensuring the successful completion of assigned tasks.

On the same day, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission reviewed the work of the first 6 months of the year and deployed tasks for the last 6 months of 2023. In the first 6 months of the year, Party committees at all levels paid attention to leading, directing and performing well the inspection and supervision work according to regulations. The Inspection Committees at all levels in the province have proactively and effectively implemented the inspection and supervision program for 2023 and the tasks prescribed by the Party's regulations. Up to now, the whole sector has helped Party committees inspect 177 Party organizations and 1,393 Party members; supervised 153 Party organizations and 199 Party members of 143 Party organizations; inspected 1 Party organization and 7 Party members when there were signs of violations; disciplined 6 Party organizations and 98 Party members.
The Inspection Committees at all levels inspected 6 Party organizations and 30 Party members with signs of violations; inspected 143 lower-level Party organizations performing the task of inspection and supervision; 140 Party organizations on the implementation of Party discipline; supervised 111 Party organizations and 206 Party members on thematic basis; disciplined 2 Party organizations and 57 Party members... The results of the inspection and supervision work contributed significantly to preserving and building a clean and strong Party, upholding principles, discipline, and order within the Party, and improving the Party's leadership capacity and fighting strength.
Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Anh Tuan requested that in the coming time, the tasks of Party committees and Inspection Commissions at all levels will be very heavy, so Inspection Commissions at all levels need to focus on innovating, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of inspection, supervision and Party discipline work, continuing to advise Party committees to lead, direct and organize comprehensive, effective and quality implementation of inspections and supervisions, according to the 2023 Synchronous Program with high determination, quality and stronger actions. Thoroughly grasp the motto that supervision must be expanded to promptly detect, remind, warn and prevent violations from occurring early, not allowing shortcomings and small violations to accumulate into large, prolonged and widespread violations; inspections must have focus and key points; discipline must be strict and timely. Strengthen the inspection and supervision work of District Inspection Commissions, grassroots Inspection Commissions and Party cells.
