According to the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order of the Provincial Police, the ASM accommodation software is directly connected to the National Population Database system.
Therefore, people's residence information is updated regularly and ensures confidentiality. The implementation of the residence notification model via ASM software brings convenience to people and units with accommodation functions such as hospitals, hotels, motels, etc. to comply with the responsibilities stipulated in Article 30 of the 2020 Law on Residence, regarding residence notification.
Dr. Pham Anh Dung, Director of Thong Nhat General Hospital, said that ASM software is the solution for managing people entering, leaving, and staying at the hospital, and strictly controlling information about relatives of patients who are staying and taking care of them. This is something that medical facilities have not been able to do well in the past.
In the future, the Provincial Police will expand this model of residence notification to medical facilities in the province. This model is currently being deployed at accommodation establishments in the province.
