(DN) - At 3:10 p.m. on July 30, at the Bon Nuoc intersection (An Binh Ward, Bien Hoa City), a collision occurred between a truck and a motorbike, killing a man on the motorbike on the spot.

According to local residents, at the time, a box truck with license plate 51D-361.76 was traveling on National Highway 1 (from Bien Hoa City to Trang Bom District). When it reached the Bon Nuoc intersection, it collided with a motorbike with license plate 60S6-2197 driven by Mr. PVN (57 years old, residing in Long Binh Tan Ward, Bien Hoa City) who was crossing the road. The strong impact threw Mr. PVN off the vehicle, causing him to fall onto the road and die on the spot; the front of the box truck was dented.
Currently, authorities are regulating traffic and investigating the cause of the incident.
The Water Tank Intersection is a major intersection between National Highway 1 and several roads leading to Bien Hoa 1 and Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Parks. Therefore, the volume of vehicles passing through this intersection is very large, leading to a high risk of accidents.
