On August 2, Dong Nai Newspaper in coordination with the Department of Education and Training, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dong Nai province held a press conference to introduce the 20th Dong Nai Newspaper Cup children's football tournament.
The 20th Children's Football Tournament (2024) will take place from August 8 to August 14.
Speaking at the press conference, Mr. Dao Van Tuan, Editor-in-Chief of Dong Nai Newspaper, said that this is a traditional provincial football tournament, highly attractive during the summer for children, and is one of the official activities of the Dong Nai Province Summer Steering Committee.
Through 19 times of organization, the award has received positive and enthusiastic responses from parents, schools, local authorities, education and training departments, cultural and sports information centers, businesses and a large number of fans. This year, the 20th time, the award has been upgraded in terms of quality and scale of awards.
The 20th Dong Nai Newspaper Cup Children's Football Tournament (2024) will take place from August 8 to August 14 at the Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center. There are a total of 11 teams from 11 localities across the province, divided into 2 groups and playing a round robin to calculate points, each group will take 2 teams to compete in the semi-finals.
The prize for the champion team is 20 million VND, the second place team is 15 million VND. The two teams with equal positions receive a bonus of 10 million VND each. In addition, there are also awards for the style team and individual awards such as: best goalkeeper, top scorer and best player of the tournament...
