The training course was attended by 50 trainees who are officers, reporters, editors, cameramen, and technicians from Radio and Television Stations in the Southeast provinces.
At the training course, students were taught modern television reportage skills, such as: methods of discovering, exploiting topics, solving problems; coordination between editing and filming during the process of working; skills in choosing appropriate content and interview questions for characters; choosing layout, movements, camera angles, post-production of television reports; the difference between television reports and other genres; basic elements that make up television reports as well as work structure, thematic thinking, visual language, etc.
According to Master, journalist Nguyen Thi Thuy Hang - Part-time lecturer at the Center for Journalism Training - Vietnam Journalists Association, in the context of strong digital transformation like today, journalists must quickly adapt and change the traditional journalism mindset to the mindset of digital journalism.
At an event, journalists must work on multiple platforms, creating diverse products to meet the needs of different audiences, both enhancing the reader experience and opening up development opportunities for press and media agencies. Improving the quality and presentation of television reports is a problem facing press agencies today.
