On the occasion of Vietnam's Day for the Poor, October 17, this morning, October 17, representatives of the program "Quang Tri Newspaper's Compassionate Arms" visited, encouraged and supported 1 million VND for Ms. Le Thi Gai (born in 1971), living in Phuong Gia neighborhood, Dong Le ward, Dong Ha city.

Her family situation was difficult. Her husband could no longer walk after a traffic accident, so all the burdens of life fell on the shoulders of that poor woman.
For many years, Ms. Gai had to do many different jobs to earn an income to cover living expenses, buy medicine for her husband and send her two sons to school.
In addition to farming 7 sao of rice, she also does extra work sweeping trash at Dong Le market from 6am every day until the market closes. However, the income from this job is not worth much.
Knowing Ms. Gai's situation, a representative of the program "Quang Tri Newspaper's Compassionate Arms" visited her and gave her 1 million VND with the hope of sharing some of the family's difficulties.
In recent times, the program "Quang Tri Newspaper's Compassionate Arms" has brought support from many kind-hearted people to difficult addresses and situations in need of help in the province.
This is truly a valuable gift in terms of material and spirit, partly encouraging and supporting those in difficult circumstances to overcome adversity and rise up in life.
