Billionaire Bill Gates and his girlfriend wore traditional Indian clothes to attend the pre-wedding party of billionaire Ambani's family.
According to the New York Post , Bill Gates, Paula Hurd and many other world-famous CEOs attended the three-day event (March 1-3) of Anant - the son of Asia's richest billionaire Mukesh Ambani. The $120 million party took place at Ambani's Jamnagar real estate.
Bill Gates told the Times of India that he was excited to attend his first pre-wedding ceremony in India. "I am enjoying it. It will be difficult to attend another Indian wedding after this one. I will get into the spirit, wear some great Indian clothes."

According to India Today , the Ambani family prepared all the event outfits for guests since last year, assigning consultants and guides to help guests dress. Bill Gates wore two different styles, the colors contrasting with his girlfriend's dress.
On March 3, Bill Gates wore a beige ensemble, including a bandhgala jacket and narrow-leg trousers. The jacket combines Western cuts with Indian embroidery and is worn for formal events like weddings and gatherings. Meanwhile, his girlfriend wore a black saree, embellished with metallic details.
The day before, he wore a black floral embroidered achkan with matching trousers. Beside him, Paula Hurd wore a salwar kameez, consisting of a tunic and wide-leg pants in a nude colour embroidered with stones and sequins. She paired the outfit with metallic high-heeled sandals and a jacket.

After the party, they went to Da Nang and Hoi An on the morning of March 4, staying at a five-star resort in Son Tra district. The two are said to have been dating since 2022, and a source confirmed that they were dating in February 2023. Paula Hurd is the widow of Mark Hurd, CEO of Oracle software company. She has held many business and management positions at NCR software company.
Bill Gates, born in 1955, is the co-founder of the world's largest software corporation Microsoft, having held the positions of chairman, CEO and chief software architect. He is considered one of the pioneers of the computer revolution in the 1970s and 1980s. Since 1987, he has been on the Forbes list of world billionaires and held the title of the world's richest person from 1995 to 2017, except for the years 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013.

After leaving his executive role at Microsoft in 2008, he has continued to pursue business and philanthropic projects. He also donates large sums of money to charities and scientific research through the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the world's largest private charity.
