On the afternoon of November 16, General Secretary To Lam and the Central Working Delegation offered incense and flowers at the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site in Ward 1, Ca Mau City (Ca Mau).
The delegation included comrades: Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department; Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the Party Central Committee Office; comrades of the Party Central Committee, leaders of ministries, departments and central branches.
On the side of Ca Mau province, there were comrade Nguyen Tien Hai, member of the Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council; comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Committee of the People's Council, People's Committee, and Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ca Mau province.
At the Ho Chi Minh Shrine, in the southernmost land of the Fatherland, in a solemn and emotional atmosphere, General Secretary To Lam and the Central Working Delegation offered incense and flowers to commemorate and express their respect and gratitude for the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh - who devoted and sacrificed his whole life for the cause of national liberation, class liberation, and the struggle for the cause of peace and happiness of the Vietnamese people and people of the world.
Before the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, General Secretary To Lam and the delegation vowed to forever study and follow his ideology, morality and noble style; continue to promote the heroic and glorious revolutionary tradition of the nation, strive to build and defend the Fatherland, wholeheartedly serve the people; forever be loyal to the Party, devoted to the people, determined to protect the integrity of the country, and build an increasingly prosperous and beautiful Vietnam.
On this occasion, General Secretary To Lam signed the Golden Book of Remembrance, expressing his emotion and pride when coming to Ca Mau Cape - the sacred land at the southernmost tip of the Fatherland, to pay his respects to President Ho Chi Minh at the Memorial. General Secretary To Lam believes that the Party Committee, government and people of Ca Mau province will continue to follow Uncle Ho's example, promote the heroic historical and revolutionary traditions, solidarity and unity, build a prosperous homeland, and fulfill Uncle Ho's wish that the entire Party and people unite to strive to build a peaceful, unified, independent, democratic and prosperous Vietnam, making a worthy contribution to the world revolutionary cause.
The Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site in Ward 1, Ca Mau City, is a cultural project of special significance and profound humanity. The project includes main items such as Uncle Ho’s shrine, internal roads, trees, ornamental plants, lotus pond, Uncle Ho’s fish pond, a house displaying many valuable artifacts and documentary photos, a screening room for documentary films about the life and revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh, etc.
According to the program, in the evening of the same day, in Song Doc town, Tran Van Thoi district, General Secretary To Lam will attend the television program to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Northward rally (1954-2024) with the theme "Deep love and heavy gratitude" at 3 locations: Ca Mau, Hai Phong and Thanh Hoa. The program aims to remember the historical milestones of the nation, the contributions and sacrifices of previous generations to achieve peace, independence, happiness and prosperity for the nation.
