In recent days, upon the passing of Comrade Nguyen Phu Trong, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, senior leaders of countries, international organizations, political parties and international friends from 103 countries, territories and 32 international organizations have sent nearly 500 letters, telegrams and messages of condolences to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam To Lam, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Pham Minh Chinh, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Tran Thanh Man, Standing member of the Central Secretariat of the Communist Party of Vietnam Luong Cuong, other Party and State leaders, the Vietnamese people and the family of Comrade General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
100 international delegations visited and sent flowers of condolence in Vietnam and more than 3,500 delegations visited General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong at Vietnamese representative agencies around the world.
In letters, telegrams and messages of condolence, leaders of countries, international organizations, political parties and international friends expressed their deep affection, infinite sorrow and great respect for General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, honored General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's contributions to the development of Vietnam and the relationship between Vietnam and its partners, and expressed their desire to continue to further promote cooperation with Vietnam in all fields.
Appreciating the solidarity and sharing of countries, partners, parties and international friends, the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam To Lam, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Pham Minh Chinh, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Tran Thanh Man, Standing member of the Central Secretariat of the Communist Party of Vietnam Luong Cuong, and other Party and State leaders have sent letters and telegrams to leaders of countries, international organizations, political parties and international friends, expressing their gratitude for the special sentiments and condolences and encouragement in the face of the great loss of the Party, State, people of Vietnam and the family of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
The Party and State leaders hope that together with other countries and partners, they will continue to realize the wish of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to further develop and deepen the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and other countries and partners, meeting the interests of the people of each country and contributing to peace, cooperation and prosperity in the region and the world.
