The crew of the charity live show Doc Mong Mo - Duy Manh and Tuan Hung donated 3 billion VND, through the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to support people affected by storm No. 3 and floods.

Sharing with Giao Thong Newspaper, singer Tuan Hung said that the program is scheduled to take place on September 21 in Tam Dao. The entire crew agreed to organize it as economically as possible, all proceeds will be donated to flood victims.

"Currently, Duy Manh, I and the crew are still in the process of discussing, preparing and planning the song rehearsal to have the most complete and meaningful program," Tuan Hung said.

Previously, the "challenge" between Tuan Hung and Duy Manh caused a stir in public opinion. Specifically, on his personal fanpage, Tuan Hung posted an article directly mentioning Duy Manh.

He wrote: "Now is the time I want to say. I challenge Duy Manh to do a live show with me to support our compatriots. I guarantee this live show will earn billions. Come on, do you dare to play?".

Just a few minutes after Tuan Hung posted the article, Duy Manh immediately responded. The singer of "Kiep do den" said that he agreed to perform the live show but on the condition that Tuan Hung had to "advance" 3 billion VND in advance to transfer to the Vietnam Fatherland Front fund to support the flood victims.

"The rest of the company's expenses will be self-funded, just do one live show. I'll sing 5 songs. If it's a duet, I'll sing a duet, and accompany you on one song... If you agree, we'll make a plan, okay?" the male singer said.

On the same afternoon, Duy Manh also posted that someone had just contacted him and agreed to spend 3 billion VND to hold a live show to support the flood victims. He wrote: "If my brother agrees, then do it, someone will call you. Please consider it."

A few hours later, Tuan Hung announced that he had received the contract and was ready to organize. "

When facing natural disasters and floods together, everyone must work together to do even the smallest things to contribute to meaningful work. I am very happy about this collaboration," Tuan Hung shared on his personal page.

"Now just focus on singing, Duy Manh," Tuan Hung told Duy Manh on his personal page on the afternoon of September 13.

Responding to Giao Thong Newspaper, Tuan Hung said he was surprised that he and Duy Manh could perform a live show together in such a short time.

"Before that, Duy Manh and I had planned to do a live show together. Coincidentally, we were able to do it at this time. Actually, at first I wasn't sure, he was half-joking, half-serious as he said on Facebook. I also thought about it because the show hadn't sold tickets yet, hadn't done anything yet, so I didn't know how much profit we would make. That was just a story that was passed back and forth.

Luckily, at that time, the organizing company agreed to transfer 3 billion VND in advance, so the two brothers decided to implement it right away," the singer of "Hold My Hand" expressed.

Previously, Tuan Hung transferred 100 million VND through a unit to support people in the northern provinces who are suffering heavy losses and damages due to the recent storms and floods. In addition, he promised to donate 50% of the revenue from his shows from now until the end of the year to support people through the Fatherland Front as part of his civic responsibility.

Speaking more about this decision, the singer confided: "All Vietnamese people at home and abroad are looking towards the North, about the consequences of this historic storm and flood. From students, workers to businessmen and artists, everyone is contributing money and effort.

Artists like us are always ready to do something, no matter how small. I hope that my contribution will "make a big difference", creating an effect to spread positive thoughts and good deeds everywhere," the singer confided.
