Vice Chairman of the Committee for Science, Technology and Environment Ta Dinh Thi speaks at the seminar
Vice Chairman of the Committee Ta Dinh Thi asked experts to contribute deeply and frankly, especially the difficulties and obstacles in the 2008 Law on Atomic Energy, so that timely solutions can be found. At the same time, there should be recommendations and proposals that are suitable to current practice in accordance with the spirit of the Law only regulating issues under the authority of the National Assembly, concisely. Therefore, this amendment of the law, along with removing difficulties, needs to focus on creating a new development space, approaching international standards, and promoting the development of the nuclear energy sector.

Seminar scene
The Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee hopes that the draft Law will overcome the difficulties and obstacles of the electronic energy industry. However, one of the current concerns is that the team of experts and human resources in the industry is both lacking and lacking in experience. Therefore, focusing on training and developing the workforce for the nuclear energy industry is very urgent.

Former Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Le Dinh Tien speaks at the seminar
According to former Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Le Dinh Tien, the 2008 Law on Atomic Energy is the basis for perfecting and adding new spirit to the draft Law (amended), especially when the Party and State have a policy on strongly developing nuclear power. A current challenge is the lack of time, not many experts in the field of atomic energy; meanwhile, we are racing against the progress of the approved nuclear power project. This is a huge challenge for the drafting and reviewing agencies.
According to Dr. Le Dinh Tien, experts in the field of quantum energy really hope that the provisions in this draft law will be consistent with and comply with international practices, especially the guidelines on standards and regulations of the International Energy Agency; at the same time, they will be consistent with the laws, management methods and characteristics of Vietnam. This is the bottleneck that needs to be resolved appropriately.
