On the morning of October 15, the Provincial Cooperative Union solemnly celebrated the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Hai Duong Provincial Cooperative Union (November 5, 1994 - November 5, 2024).

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Tran Duc Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee and President of Vietnam Cooperative Alliance Cao Xuan Thu Van acknowledged the efforts of generations of leaders, cadres, members and workers of the provincial Cooperative Alliance through the periods and congratulated the achievements of the alliance in recent years, contributing to the overall development of the province.
Entering a new phase with many challenges and opportunities, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang suggested that the Provincial Cooperative Union continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, constantly innovate, take advantage of local potentials and advantages, and develop cooperatives more sustainably and effectively.
He requested all levels, sectors, localities in the province, the Provincial Cooperative Union, cooperative groups, and member units in the province to effectively implement Action Program 64-Ctr/TU dated February 17, 2023 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on implementing Resolution No. 20-NQ/TW of the 5th Conference of the Party Central Committee (13th tenure) on continuing to innovate, develop and improve the efficiency of the collective economy in the new period. Effectively implement the Resolutions and policies of the Central and the province on the development of the collective economy and cooperatives.
Continue to replicate typical cooperatives and new cooperative models that operate effectively in localities. Replicating new cooperative models not only helps improve production efficiency but also promotes connections between members, increases competitiveness and sustainable development for the collective economy in the context of international economic integration. Strengthen consulting activities to support and assist cooperatives to develop and operate effectively.
Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang requested that all levels and sectors must consider the development of the collective economy as a key task. The Provincial Cooperative Union must enhance its capacity for support and consultancy activities, and act as a bridge in the relationships between cooperatives, between cooperatives and enterprises and state agencies to help cooperatives boost production, improve living standards, and make an important contribution to the construction of advanced new rural areas and model new rural areas. In addition, the Provincial Cooperative Union and its member cooperatives focus on training and fostering human resources for state management work. Effectively implement support and incentive policies for the development of the collective economy and cooperatives.
The Provincial Party Secretary hopes that cooperatives and cooperative groups of member units will continue to promote their role in gathering and changing the way farmers think and work in applying science and technology 4.0 and implementing digital transformation towards focusing on developing a modern, sustainable agricultural sector with high added value.
Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang emphasized that the Provincial Cooperative Union and cooperatives should boldly produce and propose to the province, departments and branches about support mechanisms and policies.
The province always creates favorable conditions for cooperatives to form and operate successfully and is ready to accompany and remove difficulties so that cooperatives can continuously develop. The Provincial Party Secretary hopes that after 5 years, the collective economic model and cooperatives in Hai Duong will lead the country in terms of quality of operations and quantity.
Chairman of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance Cao Xuan Thu Van encouraged the provincial Cooperative Alliance and its member cooperatives to promote the achieved results, overcome immediate difficulties and limitations, especially the damage caused by the recent storm No. 3. The Chairman of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance hopes that in the coming time, cooperatives in Hai Duong province will continue to learn good experiences and be creative to achieve greater achievements, especially in international cooperation, contributing to improving production efficiency and improving people's lives...
On this occasion, the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance awarded the Medal “For the cause of cooperative development” to 9 individuals. The Executive Board of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance awarded certificates of merit to 4 groups and 6 individuals.
The Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 1 collective and 2 individuals with achievements in contributing to the construction and development of collective economy and cooperatives on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of their establishment.
In 2024, the Hai Duong Provincial Cooperative Union was proposed by the Provincial Emulation and Reward Council to the President to award the Second Class Labor Medal for its worthy contributions in the field of collective economic and cooperative development.
