DCCA Chairman Ta Manh Hoang shares about the operational orientation for 2024.

DCCA will continue to research and propose new policies to ensure the rights and development of the digital content creation industry and national digital transformation; promote participation in cooperation, connection and support activities for members in the Alliance.

Sharing about the orientation in 2024, DCCA Chairman Ta Manh Hoang said that in 2023, DCCA focused on researching the most universal topics of the market, raising issues that have a great impact on the development of the content creation industry and building a solid foundation for the next steps.

“In 2024, DCCA plans to delve deeper into issues, get closer to members to better understand and resolve issues that members encounter in the process of participating in the field of digital content creation as well as entering the international market,” said Mr. Hoang.

Meritorious Artist Trinh Lam Tung - CEO of Alpha Animation Studio, a content creation unit that received a lot of attention in 2023 when launching the 3D animated film with strong Vietnamese cultural colors, Trang Quynh Thoi Nhi Nho, said: “Digital content plays an important role in bringing works to the public. We are very aware that no matter how good a product is, just leaving it in the closet is wasting the intelligence and effort of many people. A good product needs to create value for society, at the same time creating economic value so that the unit can develop and continue to create better quality products.”

The Vietnam Digital Content Creation Alliance (abbreviated as DCCA) was established by the Vietnam Digital Communications Association with the goal of building a content creation community, bringing Vietnamese digital content products to the world.

In 2023, DCCA actively organized and participated in many meaningful activities, removing difficulties and obstacles for many individuals and organizations working in the field of content creation such as consulting on tax on digital content services on cross-border platforms. Thereby, receiving many contributions from businesses, managers, and the digital content creation community on tax policies for digital content products serving the international market.

Synthesizing opinions, the Vietnam Digital Communications Association has recommended that the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Ministry of Finance consider applying appropriate tax policies to remove difficulties for businesses operating on YouTube and other cross-border digital platforms.

On April 24, 2023, DCCA was assigned to coordinate with VTC Now to organize the Forum and Exhibition on Digital Content Creation, Digital Copyright Protection, and Digital Advertising, attracting more than 300 delegates.

The forum addressed many issues to promote the development of digital content production and trading, such as the story of the shift from the traditional environment to the digital environment at press and television agencies; copyright challenges for organizations, businesses and individuals participating in the production and distribution of digital content; the problem of digital advertising business and the story of competing with cross-border platforms in the context of increasingly strong digital transformation.

In addition, DCCA also participates in organizing activities related to digital content creation, copyright protection, cooperation in developing the digital content industry and applying artificial intelligence. The most prominent is the Seminar on Solving Copyright Protection Problems for the Digital Music - Film - Television Industry on September 26, 2023.
