Arriving at the Photo story shop at D11 new urban area, Dien Bien ward, Thanh Hoa city on a late afternoon, we still met many young people coming to take photos in the photo booths designed in different styles such as overhead photobooth, blue room, red room... bringing quite interesting experiences without needing a "photographer".

Quickly choosing accessories displayed at the store to bring into the photo booth, Le Phuong Linh, 15 years old in Thanh Hoa City, shared: “The beauty of taking photos at a photobooth is that the photographer can freely choose lovely accessories such as teddy bears, glasses, hats, hairpins and self-selected costumes available at the store... to unleash their creativity and express their personality and style through each frame. Taking photos is also extremely simple, users just need to top up the machine, choose the frame and the number of photos they want, then pose in front of the automatic camera to have beautiful photos to keep as memories. I usually go to a photobooth with my friends about 1-2 times a month. We plan to make a photo album taken at all the photobooth shops in the city.”

Le Vy, manager at Photo story, shared: “The attractive point that makes young people excited is that the photobooth is integrated with AR technology, allowing users to add motion effects, from cute filters to unique virtual characters, change colors, backgrounds, add text or drawings... From there, it helps the photographer freely create the photo they love, making each photo a work of art with a strong personal mark, expressing their own style. Customers coming to Photo story are often young people - those who always love new things and look for creative ways to express themselves. Every day, the shop welcomes an average of 100 - 200 customers taking photos, and it is usually more crowded during holidays.”

The price of each photo shoot will range from 70 to 100,000 VND. After taking the photo, the machine will automatically print out 2 photos. If the photographer wants to keep an electronic copy, they can scan the QR code printed in the corner of the photo to save it to their phone. In addition to Photo Story, there are other photobooth shops in Thanh Hoa City such as Photo Razzle.

Dazzle (5th floor Vincom Plaza Thanh Hoa); Snapbooth (19, Lac Long Quan, Dong Ve ward); Smile photo (22 Le Hoan)... also attract many young people, couples or families to come take photos to preserve beautiful moments together.

Nguyen Quynh Thu, 20 years old in Thanh Hoa City, shared: “In very private photo booths, my group of friends and I can freely pose, with the resonance of the background, light and props, the photobooth helps us to turn every moment into artistic photos in many styles such as classic, minimalist or modern, the photobooth can meet all. In addition, unlike normal photos, the photobooth allows you to customize effects, frames, add unique stickers... In addition to the automatically printed photo, the photographer can also download the electronic version to their phone to save or share the photo immediately on social networks. This makes the photobooth an effective "viral" tool, helping people easily show off their interesting moments on social networks or save them as souvenirs."

There is no need for too many staff at each photobooth shop because all steps from choosing costumes, depositing money, taking photos, printing... can be done by the user themselves. The shop owner can monitor the activities with a camera system outside the room, making each photobooth shop truly a private and creative "paradise". With a variety of designs and features, photobooth is gradually becoming a favorite entertainment activity of today's youth.
