In 2024, with the theme "Year of Youth Volunteers", all levels of the provincial Youth Union actively responded with specific and practical actions, models, tasks, and activities that achieved good results. 12/12 annual work targets were achieved and exceeded the plan.

The youth volunteer movement is carried out regularly, diversely, flexibly, with many large-scale, meaningful, and practical activities, leaving a good impression in the community with 3,333 youth projects and tasks implemented, including 2 provincial-level projects, 79 district-level projects, 3,252 grassroots-level projects and tasks, with a total resource of over 40 billion VND.

Volunteer activities to protect the environment and respond to climate change are well implemented. Volunteer activities for community life are carried out regularly, with many meaningful and practical activities, especially during peak periods, such as the "Winter and Spring Volunteer" program, the peak emulation period "30 days and nights of volunteering to overcome the sun and rain to support the implementation of the 500kV line 3 circuit" project...

The creative youth movement has made great efforts in implementation and achieved good results. Digital transformation participation activities have been enhanced, the whole province has effectively maintained 3,899 community digital transformation teams; the rate of children and adolescents accessing digital capacity building activities reached 73.1%; the rate of youth using online public services reached 65.6%; the rate of youth using electronic payment accounts reached 81.9%.

Youth Union chapters at all levels have also focused on promoting communication activities on startups and entrepreneurship for young people. In 2024, the province organized 61 communication activities, 27 conferences, forums, and seminars; 30 activities to foster skills for union and association officials on startups and entrepreneurship; 8 contests on startup ideas and projects were organized...

Delegates present papers at the conference

At the conference, delegates discussed and evaluated the achieved results, and pointed out the remaining shortcomings and limitations in the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement in 2024. On that basis, the goals and tasks of the Youth Union and the youth movement in 2025 were agreed upon, with the theme "Thanh Hoa Youth is proud and confident in following the Party". In particular, a number of key goals were set, namely, at least 271,600 million youth union members and young people participating in volunteer activities organized by youth organizations and associations; 75% of youth have access to digital capacity building activities, at least 57% of young people use online public services, 83% of young people use electronic payment accounts; at least 790 ideas and initiatives of youth union members and young people are supported by the Youth Union to be deployed and realized; 20 creative start-up projects of young people are supported...

Authorized by the Prime Minister, representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee awarded the Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit to the Provincial Youth Union for its outstanding achievements in organizing the implementation of the 500 kV line project, circuit 3, from Quang Trach (Quang Binh) to Pho Noi (Hung Yen) in Thanh Hoa province.

Representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee presented the Emulation Flag of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union to the Vietnam Youth Union of Thanh Hoa province.

On this occasion, Thanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union received a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister for its outstanding achievements in organizing the implementation of the 500 kV line project, circuit 3, from Quang Trach (Quang Binh) to Pho Noi (Hung Yen) in Thanh Hoa province; The Vietnam Youth Union of Thanh Hoa province received the Emulation Flag of the leading unit in union work and youth movement in 2024 from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union; 13 district-level collectives with outstanding achievements in union work and youth movement in 2024 received the Emulation Flag of the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Thanh Hoa province; 2 collectives received Certificates of Merit from the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union.
