How is the construction progress of 500kV line 3 through Ha Tinh?

On August 1, at column 175 in Cam Thach commune (Cam Xuyen district, Ha Tinh), workers of Song Da Construction and Service Joint Stock Company were joining the last steel braces to complete the column.

Column 175 is one of the three tallest columns in the 500kV transmission line project through Ha Tinh province. The column is 145m high and weighs 426 tons. Construction began in early 2024. According to schedule, the column installation will be completed in about 3 days.

Mr. Bui Van Quang - in charge of the construction team of column 175 - said that the unit has been working at full speed to construct column 175. Up to now, the most difficult stages in the process of assembling the column have been completed. However, in the coming days, the wire pulling stage will also face many challenges. The column is very high, so transporting equipment and wire ends to the column requires specialized machinery.

It is expected that the wire pulling at column 175 will take about 10 days. The construction team is currently performing the steps of laying the wire, installing the porcelain chain, and transporting the winch system to the site.

Not far away, a group of about 20 workers from Song Da Construction and Service Joint Stock Company are also doing the final work at column position 174. The group of workers is divided into 2 groups. One group assembles the column frame. The other group connects the porcelain strings together to transport them to the completed column for wire pulling.

Mr. Nguyen Van Ti - technical officer of Song Da Construction and Service Joint Stock Company - said that this is the location of the 2-body anchorage column (double column) with a height of 56m and a weight of 235 tons. The column was started in February 2024. Currently, the unit is speeding up the progress to pull the wire to hand over to the project investor before September 2.

According to the Central Power Project Management Board, the 500kV 3-circuit line project from Quang Trach to Quynh Luu through Ha Tinh, 141.52km long with 285 column foundations passing through 9 districts and towns, was started in January 2024.

As of July 30, the project in Ha Tinh has completed casting 285 foundation positions, erected 249 columns, and is erecting 36 columns...

According to the Department of Industry and Trade of Ha Tinh province, recently, the People's Committees of districts and towns where the project passes have established working groups to promptly support, resolve and remove difficulties and problems arising at the site so that the 500kV line 3 project can ensure urgent progress according to the direction of the Prime Minister.

Localities have also mobilized available resources, provided maximum support, and created all conditions for investors, contractors, and construction units to best organize logistics, food, accommodation, living, and travel to ensure convenience, hygiene, safety, and health for officers, engineers, workers, and laborers; and ensure security and order.
