Standing Provincial Party Committee offers incense at Ta Thiet special national relic

(CTTĐTBP) - On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation Day of Binh Phuoc province, on the morning of March 19, a working delegation of the Provincial Party Standing Committee led by alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ton Ngoc Hanh, came to offer flowers and incense at the special national relic of the Southern Vietnam Liberation Army Command Base (Loc Ninh district).

In front of the memorial at the relic site, Provincial Party Secretary Ton Ngoc Hanh and provincial leaders respectfully offered flowers and incense to commemorate and express their deep gratitude to the revolutionary soldiers who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. The delegation also offered flowers and incense at the Uncle Ho Temple, the shrines of the heads of 3 units and the residences and workplaces of the generals of the Central Bureau and the Regional Command.

The Southern Vietnam Liberation Army Headquarters is one of the important historical sites associated with the steadfast struggle of our army and people in the resistance war against the US to save the country. This site is not only a place to preserve heroic memories, but also a testament to the strength of solidarity and indomitable spirit of the Vietnamese people.

The incense and flower offering ceremony at the Southern Vietnam Liberation Army Command Base is not only a commemorative activity but also an opportunity to review the heroic history, while raising awareness and responsibility of each cadre, party member and people in the cause of building and developing the homeland of Binh Phuoc to become increasingly prosperous.

The delegation burned incense to commemorate the deceased compatriots in Binh Long town.

On this occasion, the delegation also came to burn incense at the grave of 3,000 people and observed a minute of silence to commemorate the compatriots who died in the Nguyen Hue "Red Summer" campaign in 1972, in An Loc - Binh Long. The mass grave of 3,000 people in Binh Long town was recognized as a national historical relic by the Ministry of Culture in 1985./.
