The movie "The Last Wife" has just released a behind-the-scenes video about the filming of the love scene between the two main actors Kaity Nguyen and Thuan Nguyen.
The Last Wife crew just revealed behind-the-scenes footage of the hot love scenes between Linh (Kaity Nguyen) and Nhan (Thuan Nguyen).
These were the most stressful scenes for both actor and director Victor Vu. This became even more difficult because this was the first time Victor Vu had to exploit hot scenes in his films.
Sharing about the hot scenes in the film, director Victor Vu said: “This is the first time I feel these scenes are really necessary in my film. All the love scenes in the film are to build the deep feelings between the characters Linh and Nhan.
When they live in a society where love is not considered a top priority, people almost have to bury and suppress all their emotions and desires for happiness behind moral prejudices.

In addition to the hot scenes, The Last Wife also contains many details depicting the cruelty that the characters have to endure in the story, which has caused the film to be labeled 18+.
"I really want to keep the full content of this scene, without cutting or reducing it, so that the audience can experience the emotions in the film to the fullest," the director affirmed.
As for Kaity Nguyen, she revealed that she felt confused when filming intimate scenes in the film. She admitted that she has always been shy and never thought that she would film a film with so many sensitive scenes.
However, Kaity Nguyen understands that this is her 6th film and does not want to be confined to safety forever.
"If we put too much personal love and hate into it, it won't be right, because if that's what Dieu Linh needs to do to keep the story going, then Kaity has to do it," the actress shared.

Kaity Nguyen said that director Victor Vu always made sure that the hot scenes were safe for the actors. She was covered with blankets to ensure privacy and the crew had worked with her on many films to understand and respect her privacy.
The actress also borrowed some beer and wine to be able to "get through" the love scenes with Thuan Nguyen.
Even though she knows Thuan Nguyen always makes her feel very comfortable when working with him, Kaity still needs a little bit of alcohol to reduce her shyness and easily immerse herself in the character.

Meanwhile, Thuan Nguyen admitted that he felt quite pressured. As a male actor, he understood that he would be less confused and shy than his female co-star. Thuan Nguyen was always worried that his actions, if not done properly, would be judged by Kaity Nguyen as inappropriate.
That's why the actor always tries to find the most delicate and professional ways to express himself. He and Kaity Nguyen spent many days together discussing and finding appropriate gestures and movements in sensitive scenes.
“We discussed a lot with each other, continuously came up with options, leaving all the power to Kaity to choose,” Thuan Nguyen shared.
The Last Wife will have early screenings after 6pm on November 1 and 2, 2023. The film will start showing in theaters from November 3, 2023.
