Thua Thien Hue presents the 2nd Golden Hammer and Sickle Journalism Award

Over the past year, along with the socio-economic development of the province, the press and media of Thua Thien Hue have also had strong development. Press agencies have closely followed the propaganda orientation of the Party, the State and the province, innovated in content and form of operation, gradually met the diverse information needs of the people, contributed to effectively serving the tasks of socio-economic development, ensuring national security and defense of the province.

The press agencies have actively promoted the successful implementation of the goals and criteria to turn the whole province into a centrally-governed city, according to Resolution 54 of the Politburo. Recognizing the contributions of the press in the past year, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department has awarded 3 collectives and 16 outstanding individuals from press agencies and journalists in the province who have made many achievements in propagating various fields of the province.
