(CLO) Hai Phong Journalists Association has just summarized and awarded prizes to authors whose works won the 4th press contest "Joining hands to build an industrial, modern, civilized Hai Phong city".
The writing contest on the theme "Joining hands to build an industrial, modern, civilized Hai Phong city - 2024" organized and launched by the Hai Phong Journalists Association on December 26, 2023 received the participation of many members of the Branches, Journalists' Associations under the Hai Phong Journalists Association and central press agencies.
After nearly a year since the launch of the contest, many press works in many genres of print, electronic newspapers, radio and television reports on the topic "Joining hands to build an industrial, modern, civilized Hai Phong city - 2024" have been published by press agencies in the city. Notable among them are the number of works published in Hai Phong Newspaper, Hai Phong Security Special Topic, Central press agencies (both Print and Electronic Newspapers) and many news, articles, reports, columns in the Radio and Television genres and of Hai Phong Radio and Television Station.
Journalistic works on the topic "Joining hands to build an industrial, modern, civilized Hai Phong city - 2024" were vividly presented by journalists, closely following the contest rules. The authors discovered many good practices and typical models of all levels, sectors, units and localities in implementing Resolution No. 45 of the Politburo on "Building and developing Hai Phong city to 2030, with a vision to 2045"; Results of implementing the Resolution of the 16th Hai Phong City Party Congress (term 2020-2025), thereby proposing solutions and measures for the city to study and apply in practice.
At the same time, press agencies also have many works reflecting and analyzing bottlenecks and bottlenecks in the city's socio-economic activities such as: Work, site clearance, resettlement, land management, new rural construction, construction of traffic infrastructure, urban beautification, digital transformation, administrative reform... in Hai Phong city,...
Through press works, authors and groups of authors have proposed to the city measures and directions for handling, contributing to perfecting mechanisms, policies, and planning long-term, stable, and sustainable development plans according to the direction of the Politburo in Resolution No. 45 on "Building and developing Hai Phong city to 2030, with a vision to 2045" and Resolutions XIII of the Party, Resolution XVI of the Hai Phong City Party Committee (term 2020-2025); Results of mid-term review of implementation of Party congresses at all levels.
Speaking at the ceremony, Journalist Luu Thi Thanh Ha - Deputy Director of Hai Phong Radio and Television Station, Vice President of Hai Phong Journalists Association said: Synthesizing the works participating in the contest, it shows that the authors and groups of authors have shown meticulous research, closely following the core, basic contents, major policies of the city in creating an attractive investment environment, attracting large economic groups of the world to invest in the city. Exuding the main ideology of the city, continuing to affirm the 3 economic pillars of Hai Phong: high-tech industry, seaport - logistics, tourism - trade have, are and will contribute to building Hai Phong city into an industrial, modern, smart, sustainable, civilized, livable city...
During the judging period, the members of the Jury worked independently and seriously, judging according to the following criteria: Honesty and practical research; Discovery, suggestion, unique topic; Good ideological content, rich expression and orientation and dissemination, positive impact on the political system and society.
The Jury has considered and unanimously selected 11 excellent works to award, including: 01 first prize, 02 second prizes, 03 third prizes and 05 consolation prizes.
