Check-in spots such as Khue Van Cac model; flower-covered cars; giant musical instruments... have been set up at the square of Me Linh District Administrative Center (Hanoi). On the afternoon of December 26, hundreds of people flocked here to have fun as the opening ceremony of the flower festival was about to begin that evening. The colorful flowers are neatly arranged to create dreamy, poetic photo angles for young girls. This is the second year that the Me Linh Flower Festival has been held and opened free of charge to visitors on the occasion of preparing for the new year 2025. Hong Duyen (tourist) shared: "I have attended the Me Linh Flower Festival twice and seen the investment and meticulousness. I am really proud that Me Linh has such an interesting event." Many families brought their children to play. The children seemed to enjoy the colorful space. At 4 p.m., many items continued to be completed in preparation for the opening ceremony taking place on the evening of December 26. More than 200 tons of fresh flowers were displayed in 10 main items of the festival. Of which, 8 miniature landscapes were decorated with fresh flowers from the district and imported flowers, on a scale of nearly 10,000 square meters. Me Linh Flower Festival takes place from December 26 to 29, open to visitors free of charge.
This is the second year Me Linh district has organized a flower festival to display and introduce flowers, flower products, and ornamental plants of the district to delegates, people, and tourists from all over the world. The 2024 Me Linh Flower Festival is not only a cultural event but also an opportunity to honor the value of the flower growing craft village, contributing to promoting the beauty and tourism potential, aiming to build the flower festival into an annual event, a separate brand of Me Linh and the capital's tourism.
