Ha Giang – From October to December, Suoi Thau grassland attracts tourists to admire the poetic scenery like in a fairy tale.
Located in Nan Ma commune, the border between Xin Man district (Ha Giang) and Bac Ha district (Lao Cai), Suoi Thau grassland attracts tourists with a landscape that seems like it only exists in fairy tales. Photo: NVCC Suoi Thau grassland has a fairly large area, divided into many small plots managed by different garden owners. Next to the gardens of buckwheat, cockscomb, corn, rice... is the pure, wild, and original grassland scenery. The pine trees growing among the flower beds and green grass are truly "beautiful enough to forget the way back". Photo: NVCC “What impressed me most about Suoi Thau is the Chay River in front of the grassland. The river lies between two large white rocky mountains on both sides, the turquoise water creates a feeling of both majesty and poetry,” the male tourist shared. The entrance fee to the garden is about 20,000 VND, some places accept bank transfers, but visitors should remember to prepare a certain amount of change in advance if they cannot pay by bank account. If you want to stay overnight, visitors should eat and rent a room in Coc Pai town - the center of Xin Man district, 3km away. However, some sections are still affected by landslides after Typhoon Yagi, so there are still small potholes, so you need to move carefully,” said the male tourist. Photo: NVCC In addition, he also shared that he had a "half-crying, half-laughing" incident when following Google Maps, he mistakenly went onto a small dirt road through the forest that was very difficult to move, muddy and narrow. "Everyone should pay attention to go to Nan Ma commune, then continue straight towards Xin Man for about 5km more and then turn onto the concrete road to enter the grassland for safety," he said.
