Ms. Thuy said: “My family always wants our two children to live a useful life for society and encourages them to join the army to have stable jobs after returning to their hometowns after being discharged from the army. Therefore, when they were old enough to join the military, my husband and I encouraged them to join. They also responded very well and wrote a volunteer application to join the army. We hope that they will fulfill their responsibilities to the country and be trained in the military environment. When we learned that our children were selected for military service in 2025, my husband and I were very happy.”
“After Tet, we will leave for the army, so we have a lot of emotions right now. Entering a new environment will certainly have many difficulties and hardships, but we are determined and try to train to become better soldiers and become more mature,” said young man Vuong Quang Hieu.
As for young man Tang Phuc Nguyen, Dong Moc village, Dong Ngu commune, Tien Yen district, despite his difficult family circumstances, he still volunteered to join the army and was selected for military service this year. Tang Phuc Nguyen shared: “Since I was a child, I have loved the military environment, although my family still faces many difficulties, I still volunteered to join the army. Localities also focus on organizing classes to foster awareness of the Party for outstanding young people who are eligible to join the army; raising awareness for citizens to help each citizen identify their own glorious mission, promote the tradition of "discipline and unity" of the mining homeland, and confidently set out to defend the Fatherland.
