According to the plan, on March 3, the agencies and units of the Quang Ninh Military will simultaneously organize a training launch ceremony, officially starting the training season of 2025. Therefore, these days, the agencies and units under the Provincial Military Command are always actively doing well all the work of preparing lesson plans, teaching models, training grounds, training grounds and strengthening training and fostering cadres to enter the new training season with the highest determination.
In 2025, Regiment 244 will receive 300 new soldiers; of which 190 are children of 13 districts, towns and cities in the province and 110 are from the Logistics - Technical Department of Military Region 3. In order for this year's new soldier training season to achieve high results, the unit has prepared training work carefully, thoroughly and comprehensively in all aspects and stages.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dinh Cuong, Political Commissar of the Regiment, said: From the very beginning, the unit has done a good job of preparing all the necessary materials, documents, books, and forms for training new soldiers; repairing and renewing materials, training models, and actively repairing the training grounds to ensure that each company has a training ground, practice, and rotate training sessions.
Currently, the infantry training and combat technique testing ground is arranged into areas for training and testing shooting techniques, explosives techniques, grenade techniques, camouflage fortifications, and obstacles. The training and testing ground for shooting techniques and explosives ensures the arrangement of 8 firing and attacking ranges; all target lines have safe hiding and target control areas. The grenade training and testing area has 1 position for testing live grenade throwing and situation handling pits, barriers, mobile trenches, hiding positions, observation bunkers, etc.
The regiment proactively followed the instructions of the superiors, built a plan and training schedule for the first month according to regulations, ensuring that it was close to the target and consistent with the unit's training reality. Along with that, it established a framework for training new soldiers and organized cadres from squad to battalion level to participate in training, achieving a 100% rate. The training content focused on organization, training methods for team command, infantry combat techniques, and tactics. Thereby contributing to raising awareness, responsibility, and consolidating knowledge, skills, and unifying training methods for the cadre team.
“The regiment focused on cleaning the barracks and rearranging and reorganizing the rooms; repairing the communal living area; and equipping new items to serve the living and studying needs of the soldiers. We also planned and consolidated the garden and trellis system; organized the planting of short-term vegetables to ensure regular supply for the unit as well as to ensure the reception of new soldiers,” Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dinh Cuong shared.
Entering the 2025 training season, many months ago, the Provincial Military Command directed agencies and units to invest funds, consolidate barracks, training facilities, training grounds, and training grounds. The whole province has repaired and renewed 4,337 training models of all kinds, 2,450 books of all kinds; including renewing over 1,500 bulletin boards of shooting, tactics, and specialized subjects. Agencies and units registered 69 initiatives and improvements to training models and equipment; notably, there were 19 initiatives and 7 improvements that were new and highly creative. Typical examples include the 12.7mm machine gun ammunition removal device of the Dam Ha District Military Command, the use of military music playback software of Regiment 244, etc.
Along with ensuring facilities and equipment for training, previously, the Provincial Military Command had built Combat training plan phase 1 year 2025; campaign training plan 2025 report, submit to Military Region 3 for approval in accordance with regulations. Direct the arms, branches, agencies, units to develop specific, scientific training plans, schedules, and progress schedules, close to the requirements and tasks of each subject; prepare over 1,500 documents, lesson plans, lectures, and approve in accordance with regulations.
The Provincial Military Command focuses on training and fostering training staff at all levels. The Provincial Military Command organized 1 training class with 150 comrades; directed 13 Military Commands of districts, towns, cities, and Regiment 244 to organize 14 training classes with 430 comrades. The training test results were 100% satisfactory. All classes were good or better, of which 12.6% were excellent. Agencies and units proactively developed plans for approval and organized synchronous training before entering training to ensure the right level, quality, and effectiveness.
The 2025 training launch ceremony of the provincial armed forces will take place on March 3. Accordingly, the Provincial Military Command will preside over and coordinate with the Provincial Border Guard Command, the Provincial Police, the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group, and the Department of Education and Training to develop scenarios, organize training, and practice martial arts performances and combat martial arts performances. At the same time, guide and select models of teaching aids, professional equipment, outstanding activity images, and typical production products of the units to display at the launch ceremony.
Colonel Le Trong Hoa, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command, said: With a proactive and creative spirit, up to now, the provincial military units have completed all training preparation work in accordance with the above regulations. This will also be the basis for the provincial military agencies and units to participate in competitions and sports events at all levels to achieve high prizes, such as the 2025 training preparation competition; the 2025 search and rescue competition; the new soldier training competition; the competition for lieutenant commanders and political commissars of lieutenant brigades and excellent military branches, etc.
