Implementing Plan No. 227 of the Provincial Police Director on mobilizing forces to establish specialized working groups to patrol, control, and handle violations of road traffic order and safety. After 1 month of implementation, the police units in the province have coordinated to establish specialized working groups to strictly handle violations according to the subject and behaviors that are the cause of traffic accidents.

Accordingly, the Traffic Police Department, the Mobile Police Department and the Police of districts, towns and cities have mobilized nearly 4,000 officers and soldiers to participate in working groups to conduct patrols and control on routes in the province. Of which, 27 specialized teams have been arranged to handle violations on all provincial, district and communal roads. The Traffic Police Department has increased 330 officers and soldiers to be thematic team leaders at 11 units; 16 district-level Police units have mobilized 480 commanders of the Traffic Police - Order Team to be thematic team leaders to handle violations, according to the principle that the commander of one district-level Police is the team leader of another district-level Police.

Officers and soldiers participate in working groups to conduct patrols and controls on key routes.

Thereby, nearly 10,000 violations were inspected and handled, with fines of VND 21.6 billion, more than 2,000 vehicles temporarily detained, and nearly 1,500 driving licenses revoked. Of which, 27 specialized working groups of district-level police inspected and handled 3,372 violations, with fines of VND 6.8 billion; including 601 cases of alcohol concentration violations, 132 cases of speeding violations, and 337 cases of overloading and exceeding the size of the container. The coordinated specialized groups (led by officers of the Traffic Police Department) at 11 units drew up records to handle 1,904 cases, with fines of VND 3.7 billion; the cross-specialized groups of the remaining 16 units drew up records, handled 1,468 cases, with fines of VND 3.1 billion.

The establishment of specialized working groups shows that the traffic safety situation in the whole province is maintained stable, traffic accidents on provincial, inter-district and inter-commune roads are controlled, no complicated incidents or traffic jams occur.
