Thanh Hoa completes military recruitment work in 2025

On the morning of February 14, all districts, towns, and cities in the province simultaneously held military enlistment ceremonies for 2025. This year's military enlistment ceremony was held solemnly, quickly, strictly, ensuring safety and in accordance with regulations.

Comrade Nguyen Doan Anh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and leaders of Military Region 4, Provincial Military Command encouraged young people of Thanh Hoa City to join the army.

Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Doan Anh presented gifts to Thanh Hoa City youths who were leaving to fulfill their duty to protect the Fatherland.

In 2025, Thanh Hoa province was assigned by the Government to select 4,139 citizens to join the army. Of these, 3,652 citizens will perform military service, 487 citizens will join the People's Public Security service. Among the citizens joining the military service, there are 2 female citizens. Citizens joining the army will be assigned to 14 military receiving units of the Ministry of National Defense, including: Army Corps 12; Air Defense - Air Force; Navy; Provincial Border Guard Command; Capital Command; Academy of Politics; Military Medical Academy; General Department of Engineering; General Staff; Army Officer School 1; General Department of Logistics; Division 324; Brigade 206 and Regiment 762, Thanh Hoa Provincial Military Command.

Among the citizens enlisted in the army this time, the number of party members joining the army is much higher than in previous years (839 comrades, reaching 22.9%), 726 young people have attended the party sympathy training class; nearly 700 young people have written applications to volunteer for the army. The proportion of high school graduates is 66.8%, the proportion of university, college and vocational school graduates is 191, reaching nearly 6%; the proportion of ethnic minority youth joining the army is 29.24%.

To encourage the spirit of young people leaving for military service, before and after the Lunar New Year 2025, Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at all levels have organized many meaningful activities such as visiting, encouraging, giving gifts to young people leaving for military service, organizing meetings, exchanges, cultural and artistic activities...

In particular, localities also gave savings books to young people with amounts ranging from 1.3 to 7.4 million VND/book. With a spirit of urgency, seriousness and solemnity, at 8:45 a.m., the 2025 military enlistment ceremony in localities in Thanh Hoa province ended successfully, ensuring absolute safety from the work of receiving and delivering documents and handing over each citizen to the units was carried out quickly, neatly, safely and in accordance with regulations.
