Thang Binh completes the grassroots Front Congress

After the model congress of Binh Nguyen commune, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thang Binh district held a meeting to review experiences and direct the remaining communes and towns to organize the congress according to the set plan.

The Congress of the Fatherland Front of 22 communes and towns has consulted to elect 817 members of the Fatherland Front Committee for the 2024-2029 term. After the congress, the Fatherland Front of communes and towns held the first meeting to consult to elect the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of communes and towns. Accordingly, 17 comrades were re-elected, 5 comrades were newly elected.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thang Binh district said that the Front Congresses in 22 communes and towns in Thang Binh district were organized in accordance with the instructions of the superior front; the political report comprehensively reflected the results achieved in the past term and set out goals and action programs for the 2024 - 2029 term that closely followed the requirements and practical tasks of each locality.

After the grassroots Front Congress, Thang Binh will focus on preparing for the 11th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thang Binh district (term 2024 - 2029), scheduled to be held on June 6 and 7, 2024.
