The total number of visitors staying in Da Nang reached approximately 720 thousand arrivals, an increase of more than 19% over the same period in 2024. Of which, international visitors are estimated at more than 393 thousand arrivals, an increase of 29.4%; domestic visitors reached 326.7 thousand arrivals, an increase of more than 11%.
In particular, the total number of visitors to Da Nang during the 2025 Lunar New Year (from January 25 to February 2) is estimated to increase by nearly 17%. Of which, international visitors increased by 29% (reaching 228 thousand arrivals); domestic visitors reached more than 241 thousand arrivals. Flights to Da Nang during the Lunar New Year increased to a record 1,275 flights, up 58% compared to the 2024 holiday.
Starting 2025 successfully, Da Nang tourism industry continues to develop diverse tourism products (from coastal resorts, shopping, entertainment, culinary tourism to festivals and special events) to achieve the goal of attracting nearly 12 million visitors this year, an increase of 10% compared to 2024.
Recently, Time Out Magazine (UK) included Da Nang in the list of 8 most worth-visiting places in Asia in 2025; while the famous Michelin culinary guide chose Da Nang as a culinary destination in 2025.
