Accordingly, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh and the provincial working delegation and government leaders, people of Con Cuong, Tuong Duong and Do Luong districts released 2 tons of fish fry into the Giang River basin, Mon Son, Con Cuong communes and Lam River in Do Luong and Tuong Duong districts. This activity aims to raise awareness of the general community and people about protecting and restoring endangered native fish species, developing commercial fish species, protecting biodiversity and preventing organic pollution. Contributing to ensuring livelihoods associated with tourism development for people living around the Giang and Lam rivers.

To protect aquatic resources, in the coming time, all levels, sectors and local authorities need to continue to strengthen propaganda and mobilization, take measures to strictly handle acts of exploiting seafood by destructive means; actively coordinate and promote the movement of releasing fish to regenerate and develop aquatic resources in the area.
