On January 26 at APEC Park, Hai Chau District Culture and Sports Center (Da Nang City) opened a painting exhibition with the theme "Spring of the Country, Vietnamese Tet".
The exhibition has more than 100 oil and acrylic paintings created by the "little painters" (from 9 to 15 years old) of the Little House painting class in 1 month.
The paintings are diverse in subject matter, from portraits, landscapes, still lifes... about spring, created by children from their feelings about the beauty of national culture, such as images of traditional Tet with Chung cake, peach blossoms, calligraphers, red parallel sentences...
Besides, there are also clusters of paintings expressing patriotism and national pride with images of soldiers, red flag with yellow star, homeland sea and islands...
The exhibition displays paintings with 1 main section and 3 sub-sections, organized in the form of a "spring train", taking viewers on a journey to discover the vivid picture with the beauty of all regions of the country, from the peach blossoms of the Northwest mountains and forests to the flower markets next to the yellow apricot branches or on remote islands. In particular, Da Nang City and Hoi An ancient town appear with the beauty of tourist beaches with fishermen and ancient towns.
The exhibition is part of a series of rich activities on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025 in the central area of Da Nang City.
