In August 2023, after Taylor Swift finished her US tour, she gave away more than $55 million in prize money.
At the time, the singer-songwriter donated $100,000 to each of the roughly 50 truck drivers who transported her equipment across the United States.
Others - including dancers, band members, lighting and sound technicians, waiters… also received “a very generous amount of money”.
The Eras Tour began in March 2023 and ended on December 8 in Vancouver, Canada, grossing more than $2 billion in ticket sales, double the total ticket sales of any other concert tour in history.

During her final concert in Vancouver, the Grammy-winning singer shared about the "adventures" she had while "touring the world" with 149 shows on five continents.
"This is the most exciting, powerful, exhilarating, intense and challenging thing I've ever done in my entire life. We get to perform in front of over 10 million people on tour," she said emotionally.
Before starting the final song of the Vancouver show, Taylor Swift told the audience: "I want to thank each and every one of you for being a part of the most exciting chapter of my life so far - my beloved The Eras Tour ."
