Taylor Swift is the Global Recording Artist of 2024

Taylor Swift was named Global Recording Artist of 2024 for having the world's highest music sales last year.

On February 18, the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) announced the list of the top 10 highest-grossing artists in many categories. This is the fifth time and the third consecutive year that Taylor Swift has received the most important award. She first won the title in 2014 with 1989 , continued to be honored in 2019 with Lover. The IFPI Global Charts were launched in 2013 and provide a “comprehensive picture” of the performance of artists, albums and songs around the world.
