Strengthening the Party's leadership over emulation and reward work in the new situation

The Standing Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee has just issued a directive on strengthening the Party's leadership in emulation and reward work in the new situation to strengthen and promote the strength of great national unity, the tradition of patriotic emulation, the spirit of self-reliance, self-confidence, self-reliance, national pride and the aspiration to develop the province; improve the quality and effectiveness of emulation movements and reward work, create momentum and motivation to achieve and exceed the annual and phased targets and tasks of the province, successfully implement Resolution No. 09 of the Politburo on building and developing Khanh Hoa province to 2030, with a vision to 2045 and continue to enhance the position of Khanh Hoa province in the region and the whole country.

Accordingly, Party committees, Party organizations, authorities, Vietnam Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations focus on implementing Directive No. 41, dated December 26, 2024 of the Politburo on strengthening the Party's leadership over emulation and reward work in the new situation; continue to propagate and thoroughly grasp President Ho Chi Minh's thoughts on patriotic emulation and the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State on emulation and reward; strengthen the role and responsibility of Party committees, Party organizations, authorities and leaders in leading and directing the organization of emulation and reward work; take the results of organizing movements and the results of emulation and reward work as a key criterion in the annual assessment and classification of the quality of Party committees, Party organizations and collective leadership and management. Party committees, Party organizations and leaders directly lead, direct and create strong qualitative changes in emulation and reward work. Exemplary cadres and party members, pioneers, and the core of the emulation movement, associated with promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style.

At the same time, continue to innovate comprehensively and promote creativity in organizing emulation movements. Emulation movements must focus on breakthrough, key, and focal tasks; emulation goals and criteria must be specific, clear, easy to remember, easy to implement, easy to evaluate, inspect, and monitor, associated with the implementation of political tasks of agencies, units, and localities, and be extensive, covering all fields, with people as the center and subject. Focus on organizing short-term, thematic, and periodical emulation. Organize and launch emulation movements throughout the Party, the entire army, and the entire people associated with emulation to achieve achievements to celebrate important events of the country and the province. Continue to widely and effectively deploy emulation movements to build and develop the province, contributing to the development of the country, emulation to implement key national and provincial projects, projects under the socio-economic recovery and development program, and national target programs; emulation movements to develop science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation to be ready to make a breakthrough, bringing Khanh Hoa into the "Decade of Elevating Development", successfully implementing Resolution No. 09 of the Politburo.

Along with that, timely reward and encourage typical examples and replicate and promote good and creative ways of doing things. Criteria and standards for advanced typical examples need to be specifically developed, suitable for the reality of each industry, field, unit and locality. Strengthen propaganda of good people and good deeds; learn creative and effective ways of doing things in implementing emulation movements. Continue to innovate and improve the quality of commendation work; strengthen inspection and supervision, promptly prevent negative manifestations in emulation and commendation work; consolidate the organizational apparatus, improve the quality of the team doing emulation and commendation work...
