Over 2,000 billion VND in outstanding loans for the job creation program

Since the beginning of the year, the provincial Bank for Social Policies (BSP) has disbursed nearly VND137 billion in loans for the job creation program. This is the program with the highest disbursement turnover among the 15 policy credit programs managed by the provincial Bank for Social Policies.

Bac Ninh currently has nearly 34,900 customers with outstanding loans for job creation.

Up to now, the total outstanding debt has reached more than 2,060 billion VND, accounting for nearly 50% of the total outstanding loan balance of policy credit programs with nearly 34,900 customers with outstanding debt. Of which, the central capital source is more than 1,300 billion VND, the remaining capital source from the provincial and district budgets is entrusted to the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies for lending.

Most of the loan projects are used for the right purposes, investing in livestock, cultivation, developing secondary occupations, traditional occupations and general business. Of the total loan projects, projects related to household economy account for nearly 90%, concentrated in rural areas, mainly attracting idle agricultural labor force. According to statistics, every year, nearly 5,000 workers have new jobs through loans from the National Fund for Employment Support. The provincial Social Policy Bank is continuing to disburse revolving loans from the capital recovered due for customers in need.
