Strengthening the management of electronic stamps on domestically produced and consumed cigarettes and alcohol

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has just requested heads of relevant departments, agencies, units and local authorities to strengthen solutions to manage electronic stamps on domestically produced and consumed cigarettes and alcohol in Binh Thuan.

Specifically, the Binh Thuan Tax Department is required to monitor, review, and advise the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee (Head of the Steering Committee for State Budget Collection and Prevention of Revenue Loss in the province) to complete and supplement the composition of the Steering Committee and the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee for State Budget Collection and Prevention of Revenue Loss. Coordinate with agencies and units according to assigned tasks to report and propose to the Provincial People's Committee to consider and direct the implementation of related issues to contribute to preventing tax loss in Binh Thuan.

The Department of Industry and Trade shall direct and review all alcohol and tobacco production facilities and coordinate with tax authorities and other levels and sectors to conduct inspections at each commune, ward and town on the current status of production and business, licensing, registration, stamp use, and tax declaration and payment. At the same time, strengthen inspection and handling of violations of regulations on stamping of alcohol and tobacco according to the Government's Decree on administrative sanctions for violations in commercial activities, production and trade of counterfeit and prohibited goods and consumer protection.

This issue is also being thoroughly understood by relevant departments, branches, agencies, units and People's Committees of districts, towns and cities in the province in coordination with tax authorities to continue to thoroughly grasp and direct the drastic implementation of the management of electronic cigarette stamps and electronic alcohol stamps in the area. On the other hand, it is also necessary to strengthen inspection and control of production and business activities, products for sale and circulation in the area and sanction violations of regulations on labeling alcohol and tobacco. At the same time, strengthen communication to each ward, commune, village, neighborhood, civil servants, public employees, workers, organizations and individuals producing alcohol and tobacco as well as thoroughly grasp the requirements of all levels of branches, unions, units, organizations and state agencies to not use products without stamps or products that do not ensure their origin according to regulations...

Organizations and individuals producing and trading in tobacco and alcohol in the province must register, affix electronic stamps and register, declare and pay taxes according to regulations. Do not use alcohol and tobacco products without stamps or without guaranteed origin. Prioritize choosing products with clear origin and origin, ensuring quality standards and food safety according to regulations.
