Strengthening exchange activities between Ho Chi Minh City youth and the Russian Federation

Ho Chi Minh City hopes to have many exchange activities between Ho Chi Minh City youth and youth in localities of the Russian Federation, deepening the long-standing traditional relationship between the people of the two countries.

On the afternoon of November 7, Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Manh Cuong had a courtesy meeting with a delegation of the Young Guards of the United Russia Party led by Mr. Anton Vyacheslavovich Demidov, Chairman of the Young Guards of the United Russia Party, during their visit and work in Ho Chi Minh City.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong expressed his joy when welcoming the delegation of the Young Guard of the United Russia Party on the occasion of the 107th anniversary of the October Revolution (November 7, 1917).

Mr. Cuong said that in Ho Chi Minh City, the anniversary of the October Revolution is celebrated and honored by awarding Party badges to Party members with good achievements.

According to Mr. Cuong, the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City welcome the cooperation activities between the youth of Ho Chi Minh City and the youth of Saint Petersburg, Russia. The youth generation of Ho Chi Minh City always remembers the friendship and strategic partnership between Vietnam and the Russian Federation.

In recent years, Ho Chi Minh City leaders have also had many exchanges with Saint Petersburg leaders, deepening the relationship between the two localities and the two countries. A typical example is the working trip in June 2023 led by the Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, which opened up many coordination activities between localities, departments and agencies of Saint Petersburg.

Mr. Anton Vyacheslavovich Demidov thanked the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and the Party Committee delegation for organizing the meeting in a solemn atmosphere and said that the delegation was on a working trip to Vietnam to learn about culture, history as well as share experiences in youth activities of the two countries.
