Exciting activities in the program "March Border" 2025

This morning, March 20, in A Vao commune, Dakrong district, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union - Secretariat of the Vietnam Youth Union of Quang Tri province coordinated with the Provincial Border Guard Command, the Provincial Red Cross Society, the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association and the Provincial Young Doctors Association to organize the program "March Border Month" 2025.

The program “March Border Month” is one of the activities to materialize the movement “I love my Fatherland” launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union every March in border communes across the country, focusing on difficult border communes. Over the years, the program has become one of the annual activities, effectively organized by Quang Tri youth with many meaningful activities.

Thereby, promoting the spirit of vanguard and volunteerism of young people in participating in socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security; caring for and accompanying border guards and people, youth in border areas. The activities are always highly appreciated by all levels, sectors and people, creating a spreading effect in the social community.

Following those successes, at this year's "March Border Month" program, the organizing committee continued to implement practical projects and activities such as: Presenting the "Playground for Children" project and scholarships to students overcoming difficulties of Mo O Primary and Secondary School with a total value of 100 million VND; presenting 100 cartons of milk to students of A Vao Primary and Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities. Presenting a set of publications on reproductive health care, sexual health, anti-child marriage; prevention of violence and gender equality to the A Vao Commune Youth Union to serve propaganda work; presenting 30 gifts to people in difficult circumstances in the area; visiting and presenting gifts to prestigious village elders and the A Vao Border Guard Station; health check-ups, blood sugar screening, osteoporosis measurement and free medicine distribution to people in the area.

Speaking at the program, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Nguyen Quoc Toan said that through the program, the organizing committee hopes to contribute to raising awareness and responsibility of union members, association members and young people in performing national defense and security tasks in the new situation. At the same time, promote the spirit of vanguard and volunteerism of young people in participating in socio-economic development and construction; strengthen the spirit of solidarity between union members, association members and young people with cadres, soldiers and people living and working in border areas.

From there, we call on union members, youths in the whole province to show their love for their homeland and country, and contribute their youth with concrete actions for the Fatherland's borders.
