Supermodel Ha Anh and Thuy Hanh run rehearsal for Miss Global semi-final

Taking on the role of Production Director for the Miss Global 2023 journey in Vietnam, over the past 10 days, Ha Anh and her team have coordinated with many units to organize photo shoots, fashion shows, charity work, and visits to cultural and historical sites... from Vung Tau, Nha Trang to Ho Chi Minh City.

On the afternoon of January 11, she and supermodel Thuy Hanh appeared on stage in Phu Quoc - where the semi-final night took place. Wearing a navy blue short dress with a deep neckline and tight fit, Ha Anh confidently showed off her 5-month pregnant belly. Many people praised her sexy, slim figure despite being pregnant.

“The crew was worried that I and the baby would be tired because of the busy work schedule; some viewers said I was a workaholic and didn’t care about the baby’s health. But I personally always felt full of energy.

It seems that doing something I love makes me feel more excited. Luckily, the baby in my belly is very cooperative, following me on such a long journey and still developing well.

My responsibility as Production Director for Miss Global in Vietnam is about to reach the finish line, so every day I tell myself, just try a little bit more and then I will be able to return home to reunite with my husband and children and rest," the supermodel said.

Ha Anh also shared that she was lucky to have a support team behind her and enthusiastic partners, so everything went smoothly, without any problems in the organization and production stages.

The Miss Global semi-finals will take place in Phu Quoc on the evening of January 13.

Former supermodel Thuy Hanh has many years of experience in training and organizing beauty contests. She, her sister - former model Thuy Hang and her husband - musician Minh Khang - coordinated with Ha Anh's team to come up with optimal solutions according to the requirements of the international Miss Global organization.

Ha Anh herself said that the Miss Global organization was very impressed with the professional working style of the Vietnamese partners. Nearly 80 international contestants of this year's contest were also very happy with the warm welcome and care in any land they set foot in Vietnam.

Not only holding the role of Production Director, Ha Anh is also one of the judges in the hot seat of the Miss Global 2023 semi-final night on the evening of January 13. She clearly understands the scoring criteria of the contest, so she always silently observes the contestants in each official activity or how they perform in daily activities.

Ha Anh believes that the new beauty queen must be outstanding in both appearance and performance skills, always exuding energy that attracts others with intelligence. In addition, she also focuses on the leadership qualities, diplomatic skills, and teamwork of the candidates. "Honestly, it is very difficult to choose a girl who possesses all of those factors," Ha Anh confessed.

80 contestants from all over the world have arrived in Vietnam to prepare for the semi-final night.

When asked about Vietnamese representative Doan Thu Thuy, the supermodel frankly said that she kept her distance from her juniors to ensure fairness and transparency in her position as a judge .

“It is not because she is a contestant from the host country in the Miss Global semi-final journey that I have a preference for Doan Thu Thuy. However, I have observed that, through each activity, Thu Thuy has become much more confident. She has a beautiful face, good performance skills, and good English ability to communicate and get along with international friends. However, to break through in the final round of the final night, I think Thu Thuy needs to try to shine more in the activities.”
