Smart mini projector for 2 million VND
Born as a former student of Foreign Trade University but with a passion for technology product business, Phan Anh Vu - Founder and operator of Beecube projector brand.
Sharing about the opportunity that made him put his heart into this product, Anh Vu said that when he was still in school and was still familiar with traditional chalkboards, one time his teacher let him attend a class with a projector, he felt extremely excited and thought: "Why don't people bring a projector like this home to watch movies? It's such a waste to just show slides like this."

However, at that time he also realized that the cost of a projector was quite expensive and they were quite crude and cumbersome so they were only used mainly in meetings, conferences...
Mr. Vu started focusing on researching and studying mini projector products since 2019 and in 2021 he decided to launch his own projector brand.
Mr. Vu said, Beecube is the first Vietnamese brand to develop and commercialize smart mini projector products, serving the needs of listening and viewing experiences on the big screen for Vietnamese people.
According to Founder Anh Vu, the difference compared to traditional projectors is that his product is compact, convenient, easy to carry and has decorative features. Proud to have a community of up to 20 thousand members.
Mr. Vu shared that after 2.5 years of operation, the product brought in revenue of 7 billion VND in 2021. Revenue in 2022 reached 25 billion VND with a profit of 15%. By the end of the third quarter of this year, this brand had achieved revenue of 27 billion and a profit of 12%. It is expected that by the end of 2023, revenue will be 39 billion.
Products with prices from 2 million, 4 million, 6 million, 16 million, the price will correspond to the product configuration.
Want to raise 8 billion for 10% of shares
Mr. Vu also admitted that he has many competitors, but the USPs (competitive advantages) of the product are the clear division of product lines with prices from 2 million, 4 million, 6 million, 16 million, the price will correspond to the product configuration.
Currently, the brand's revenue is divided into 70% online and 30% offline for 6 retail showrooms in Hanoi, Nghe An, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.
Interested in a product with reasonable cost but good quality, Shark Minh Beta was the first to offer to invest 8 billion for 25% of shares.
Shark Tue Lam wants Anh Vu to deal with her alone.
With Anh Vu's confident assertion that he could recover his capital in 3-4 years, Shark Binh also offered to lend 8 billion on the condition that he would pay dividends and after recovering his capital, he would receive 20% interest.
As for Shark Tue Lam, she expressed her admiration for the young Founder's efforts, and at the same time made an offer that "made it difficult for the other Sharks": That was to ask the Startup to decide whether to continue negotiating with the other Sharks or just negotiate with Shark Tue Lam and she would definitely make a deal.
At this moment, Shark Minh immediately stood up, walked towards the safe and pulled out the golden ticket. The President of Beta Group also did not forget to apologize to Shark Tue Lam for taking the deal from her but because "he really liked" this product.
Shark Minh shared: “We don’t just make projectors. We can use this mindset and this way of doing things to make many other products. And I want to use the quintessence and intelligence of Vietnam and the way we build our brand, the way we can control costs but still create a good product.”
Shark Minh Beta withdrew the exclusive golden ticket to negotiate the deal. The deal was successful with 8 billion for 22.5% of shares.
This is also the first golden ticket in season 6 to be released. With this ticket, Shark will "reward" the Startup with a minimum value of 100 million to "exclusively" make a deal. Other Sharks who want to participate in the deal can continue to bid. Startups have the right to refuse the golden ticket to negotiate further with other Sharks or receive the golden ticket immediately and continue to negotiate with Shark to make a deal.
Finally, Founder Beecube decided to accept the golden ticket and agreed to Shark Minh Beta's investment proposal of 8 billion for 22.5% of shares, closing the dramatic deal of the Vietnamese brand mini projector.
