According to initial information, on the morning of December 27, a fire broke out at a residential and commercial house at No. 2, Lane 4, Ao Sen Street (Mo Lao Ward, Ha Dong District, Hanoi).

Specifically, at 7:07 a.m., Ha Dong District Police received a fire report at a house used for living, renting and serving as a restaurant on Ao Sen Street.

Witnesses said they first heard a crackling sound and smelled something burning, then smoke spread quickly and the fire burned up the stairs to the fourth floor of the house. Many people nearby used portable fire extinguishers to put out the fire but were unsuccessful.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Ha Dong District Police and Fire Fighting Team of Region 4 dispatched 4 fire trucks to the scene to put out the fire.

After a few minutes, the fire was extinguished. The incident did not cause any human casualties, but property damage is still being assessed. It is known that the house has a 4-storey structure, the fire area is about 40m2.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by authorities.
