Stage stimulates visual effects

On May 21, the DIFF 2024 organizing committee said that this year's stage area will be 20% larger than last year, up to more than 1,200 square ^meters , with the expectation of creating a large performance space on a grand scale.

In addition to expanding the performance space to impress the audience, technological innovations and special effects were also applied here for the first time.

The screen is upgraded with a large projection size and transparent mesh technology to create special lighting effects, connecting diverse performance spaces with the audience.

"The most prominent feature of the DIFF 2024 stage is the large lifting table system in the middle of the stage combined with the lighting system to create a unique and multi-dimensional performance space used in the final night.

This year's stage lighting system has also been upgraded with modern lifting light technology, which can be raised and lowered flexibly to provide the best views of the entire fireworks display area," said the organizers.

Festival activities throughout

According to the Da Nang Department of Tourism, up to now, it has completed informing tourism service businesses in the city to widely promote and disseminate information about DIFF 2024 so that tourists know.

Along with the appearance of familiar faces who have won DIFF, this year's season brings surprise factors from three rookies from China, Germany and Italy.

At a recent working session to prepare for the event, the Department of Culture and Sports of Da Nang said that along with the fireworks festival, there will be about 40 accompanying activities.

Some of the new activities include: water art performances of jestky and flyboard at Asia Park; quiz contest to learn about DIFF 2024; Random dance Kpop program, summer playground program for children...

Boost for summer tourism in Da Nang

Previously, the DIFF 2023 season helped Da Nang create a spectacular boost to tourism recovery after the pandemic.

During DIFF, flights to Da Nang International Airport can reach up to 150 flights per day, 1.5 times higher than usual.

Along with the recovery of international flights over the past year, Da Nang's tourism industry expects the fireworks festival to create new growth.
