(NLDO) - The 2025 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival will take place over 45 days with the participation of 10 competing teams.
On January 8, the People's Committee of Da Nang City and Sun Group Corporation held a press conference to launch the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival - DIFF 2025.
DIFF 2025 will take place from May 31 to July 12 with the theme "Da Nang - a new era". This is a longer fireworks season than previous festivals with 6 competition nights and 10 participating teams including: Vietnam 1, Vietnam 2, Finland, United Kingdom, Portugal, Poland, South Korea, Italy, Canada, China.
The opening night of DIFF 2025 is scheduled to take place on May 31, with a match between Vietnam 1 and Finland under the theme "cultural quintessence".
Da Nang International Fireworks Festival takes place from May 31 to July 12
The fireworks nights will then be held every Saturday night in the following weeks, with a week off before the final night with the following themes and participating teams: June 7th night: Creative Arts (Vietnam 2 - Poland); June 14th night: Connecting Journey (Canada - China); June 21st night: Sustainable Development (Portugal - UK); June 28th night: Leading Technology (Korea - Italy); July 12th final night: Welcoming the New Era.
The organizers said that each competition night will be a vibrant live concert with the participation of famous domestic and international artists and music idols, combining fireworks, music and modern technology.
Fireworks display area at Han River port area and art performance area on Tran Hung Dao sidewalk, Son Tra district. Each night, teams have 20 minutes to perform fireworks displays according to the agreed theme.
A representative of Sun Group Corporation said that the ticket price for the fireworks festival is from 1 million VND/ticket depending on the location of the stands. Ticket distribution channels are mainly concentrated on travel agencies, travel platforms, online booking, website diff.vn and app Sun Paradise Land. The organizers have a discount of up to 20% for customers who buy tickets early.
At the press conference, Ms. Truong Thi Hong Hanh, Director of the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City, said that the department is proposing to the city about an international fireworks complex.
This will be one of three breakthroughs to promote the tourism industry for 2025, in terms of tourism products, market promotion, flight routes and service quality. In particular, for new tourism products, the city will have solutions to speed up progress, soon start construction and put into the international fireworks complex project.
