Recently, Thanh An Commune Police (Minh Long District) coordinated with Binh Thanh Commune Police (Binh Son District) to rescue a 13-year-old female student named D.TD (Thanh An Commune, Minh Long District). She was lured into working as a karaoke bar waitress, which was not suitable for her age.

D.TD said: “A friend on Facebook asked me if I needed a job, I said yes, then he gave me another person’s Facebook. I just texted that person’s Facebook to ask if she needed someone to work, she said yes and I asked how much the monthly salary was, she said it was 10-15 million a month.”

After arriving in Binh Thanh commune, D.TD realized that he had accepted a job as a karaoke server, which was not suitable for his age. When D.TD's mother saw him on the street and could not contact him, she reported it to Thanh An commune police.

Thanh An Commune Police in coordination with Binh Thanh Commune Police investigated and rescued D.TD.

At the same time, during the inspection of some boarding houses in Binh Thanh commune, Binh Thanh commune police discovered 22 young girls, all from the mountainous areas of Quang Ngai province, of which more than 15 were students on summer vacation. They took advantage of the 3-month summer vacation to work and then return to school. At first, they did not know that their job was karaoke service staff.

Major Dang Son Quoc, Chief of Thanh An Commune Police, Minh Long District, Quang Ngai, said: “Most of the victims are students, on summer vacation. When using Facebook and Zalo, we need to be vigilant against bad guys who take advantage of us and offer easy jobs with high salaries, which will lead to serious consequences.”
