Promoting Binh Thuan's image to Korea

The program opened up opportunities for delegates to exchange information, introduce the potential and tourism products of Korea and its strong tourism products, as well as the unique natural and cultural heritages and typical tourism products of Binh Thuan. Connecting trade between tourism businesses on both sides not only helps increase the number of Korean visitors to Binh Thuan but also opens up opportunities for cooperation in investment, developing high-end tourism services, as well as promoting destinations more effectively.

During 4 days (from March 17 to March 20), the Korean Famtrip delegation visited, surveyed and experienced attractive and unique tourism products of Binh Thuan such as: NovaWorld Phan Thiet Golf Course; Po Sah Inư Tower Relic; Duc Thanh School; Wine Castle; Some services at accommodation facilities, resorts... Binh Thuan is known as one of the top attractive tourist destinations in Vietnam and is gradually affirming its position on the international tourism map, especially after the Government approved the Master Plan for the construction of Mui Ne National Tourist Area until 2040, with a vision to 2050. In addition to the advantages of beautiful nature, 192 km long beach, and mild climate all year round, Binh Thuan also owns many famous natural landscapes and cultural relics such as: Flying Sand Hill, Bau Trang, Mui Ke Ga, Po Sah Inu Cham Tower, Truong Duc Thanh Relic Site, Van Thuy Tu... Along with that, Binh Thuan has a unique culture of a community of 35 ethnic groups with a system of typical cultural festivals, many traditional craft villages and unique culinary arts...

Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Minh, Vice Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee said that in addition to high-end tourism products such as: Golf, high-end beach resorts, sea sports tourism, terrain sports tourism... Binh Thuan is focusing on developing main tourism product lines such as "green" tourism, linking tourism activities with preserving and promoting resource values and protecting the environment; preserving and developing cultural tourism products associated with festivals, visiting and learning about the life of local communities, traditional craft villages; promoting the development of eco-tourism products of forests - waterfalls - lakes - islands, nature conquest tourism, adventure tourism, agricultural eco-tourism, community tourism combined with staying at local homes, convalescence tourism, health care tourism and combining tourism with meetings, awards, seminars, events...

Korea has become one of the important tourist markets of Vietnam in general and Binh Thuan in particular. In Binh Thuan, from 2023 to present, the number of Korean visitors has grown dramatically. Korean tourists love beach resorts, golf tours, water sports, watching the sunrise on white sand hills and exploring local culture. According to statistics, in the first 2 months of 2025, Binh Thuan tourism welcomed more than 116,000 international visitors (an increase of 32% over the same period in 2024). Of which, Korea continues to account for a high proportion of visitors, ranking 3rd in the number of international visitors to Binh Thuan.

According to Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh, in order to continue attracting tourists from Korea, Binh Thuan province will work with localities and tourism businesses in the province to develop preferential policies and stimulus programs for Korean tourism businesses to bring tourists to Binh Thuan. At the same time, it will create maximum support conditions for Korean investors to invest and develop tourism products in Binh Thuan and businesses on both sides can effectively exploit the available potential. In addition, the province will focus on building new, attractive tourism programs and products that are suitable to the needs of Korean people.

At the program, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province signed a cooperation program with the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism's Tourism Promotion Representative Office in Korea. The Binh Thuan Tourism Association and Hanatour Group (Korea) signed a cooperation program in organizing to welcome Korean tourists to Binh Thuan in the near future.
